Sewer and Septic

If your property is on any type of Septic System, you will be required to provide, at settlement, a certification that the system is in proper working order and having a capacity equivalent to the number of bedrooms in the dwelling.
Gravity Septic Field - Underground sewage disposal system.
Mound System - A soil absorption system that is elevated above the natural soil surface using fill material.
Public Septic - Underground sewage disposal system that serves more than one property.
Public Sewer - Property served by a municipal or public sewer system.
Septic Pump - System which usage a pump to deliver the sewage to the underground system.

The number of potential bedrooms in a home determines the maximum occupancy for that home. If the property is on a septic system, select the whether the system is (=) equal, (<) less than, or (>) greater than the number of bedrooms in the house.
